I’m Dakota.

I am a strong project manager, an analytical problem solver, and a creative content developer. As an enthusiastic professional with a Bachelors of Business Administration specialized in Marketing and Operations Management. I am fascinated by inclusive design, marketing strategy, and bringing order to complex systems.

In my current role, I am a Regional Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Grant Thornton LLP, I am responsible for planning, managing, and reporting on strategic multi-channel marketing and communications campaigns across seven offices in South Coastal BC and Vancouver Island. Previously, I worked at SAP focusing on communications for over 1500 employees in the Vancouver office.

Outside of my 9-5, you can find me eating and drinking my way through Vancouver, one overpriced latte or sushi roll at a time. Otherwise, you can catch me training for the BMO 2025 marathon, snapping photos on my canon g7x mark ii or daydreaming about which country to visit next.
